Less
than two weeks after the horrifying terror attack on Garissa
University, another terror suspect has been arrested at President Uhuru’s
home in Gatundu South. Said Mire Siyad was arrested on Tuesday while on what is believed
to have been a surveillance mission on President Uhuru’s home in Gatundu South.
The
suspect was arraigned in court on Tuesday morning where the prosecutor, Daniel Karuri, requested the court for more time to allow police to complete investigations.
It is believed that the suspect has associates in the region who are yet to be
arrested.
The court
ordered for the detention of Mr
Said Mire and other terror related suspects for another 15 days to allow police conduct
thorough investigations.
